Feasibility StudiesWhen evaluating the need for a new pipeline, the first stage in the process is to determine whether or not a proposed pipeline is technically and economically feasible. Some aspects of such a study are relatively straightforward, while others can be more complex. Utilizing our operating experience and expertise, we can add significant value in assisting you with a Technical and Economic assessment. Technical AssessmentThe feasibility study is based on a high-level assessment of the functional requirements for the project. These functional requirements drive fundamental decisions at this stage, such as pipeline diameter, number of pump stations, etc. We provide you with a technical assessment that addresses the practicality of the proposed design parameters from all angles. Economic AssessmentA proper economic assessment for any project depends upon a reasonably accurate estimate of both capital and operating costs associated with the project. Our extensive experience in day-to-day operations of pipeline systems, including the ongoing management of operating cost budgets, gives us access to an extensive array of data to assist in the development of comprehensive and accurate operating cost estimates for preparing economic assessments. |
