Procurement Assistance
We provide objective and confidential SCADA program procurement assistance to help operators choose a SCADA system provider. Our program includes:
Data Gathering, Condition & Needs Assessment
We have fine tuned data gathering exercises to obtain the required project data we will need to begin a “procurement assistance program”. We then proceed with a site visit of facilities to define current and future requirements. This visit is critical in understanding the existing status of equipment and future requirements of the system.
Review, Analysis & Specification Generation
Upon data review and analysis, an appropriate specification is generated.
Final Specification
The final product is a specification that addresses requirements and recommendations that can be used for the competitive tender of a SCADA system (upgrade/replacement).
Vendor Evaluation Assistance
Whether you need a new system or are upgrading or replacing an older one, choosing a SCADA provider can be overwhelming. As an operator, we have had many opportunities to develop the expertise and can pass on our knowledge to you. Our program includes:
- Review
All valid vendor proposals are reviewed and evaluated for technical compliance compared to the client tendered specification. A risk identification matrix based on the experience and technology of each vendor is also developed.
- Technical Evaluation Report
A final report outlining the conclusion of the review is submitted to the client.
